SEM - EDS Microscopy Workshop June 2025

May 15, 2025

Promotional flyer for an SEM/EDS Workshop. Shows sample SEM images and elemental spectra charts. Text advertises topographic, morphological, and elemental analysis using scanning electron microscopy and EDS. Workshop dates are June 11–12, 2025, cost is $75 per person, with a limit of 18 participants. Includes registration link, QR code, and logos for the Nebraska Center for Biotechnology, Hitachi, and the University of Nebraska.

Workshop on Scanning Electron Microscopy/Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (SEM/EDS): Hands-on training of sample preparation and topographic, morphological, and compositional analyses

This workshop is designed to introduce a new advanced variable-pressure SEM/EDS imaging and chemical analysis system and its capability/applications to researchers in the fields of biological, civil/bio engineering, chemical/material, and food/nutritional sciences.   More specifically, this workshop will provide participants with demos and hands-on training on the new SEM/EDS system and preparation of samples (participants’ own sample of interest is recommended), and how to obtain image and/or elemental analysis data from various types of samples.

Wednesday, June 11th - Thursday, June12th

9:00 am - 4:30 pm

Beadle Center, UNL City Campus

75.00* per person  |  14 18 Participants

(Due to high demand we have increased the limit to 18 people)
